Val: Kind of made me do the "happy dance." While I wish the crisps were bigger, I love the flavor at the end. It would be good to put in a coffee, cookie, brownie, etc.
D-mo: Smells great when you open it. For me, I wish it was mintier, and the crisps were small enough to remind me of sand. Not a bad thing, but not great. The chocolate itself is excellent.

Val: Very smooth and mellow. I was by no means overwhelmed by chocolate flavor... kind of reminded me of a chocolate milkshake. Not as acidic as a Hershey's. Nice on the whole.
D-mo: I didn't find it supremely milky, but it was very creamy. I don't want to call it "plain," but it is. With that said, I'd happily get this again.

Val: It's really sweet. Not as easily consumable as say, a Hershey's with Almonds, because of the sweetness, but it's really nice.
D-mo: Tastes very milky. Even the almonds taste sweet (apparently they were roasted in cocoa butter). You definitely need something to wash it down, but it's real good.

Val: It's just a hunk of Cadbury chocolate... dry Cadbury chocolate. The chocolate itself is a good flavor (once you get it to melt in your mouth), but still not worth it.
D-mo: "The Intense Chocolate Hit?" I think not. It's chocolate shavings dipped in chocolate. Paid $2.09 for this import; won't do it again.

D-mo: I have to disagree. I didn't find it that bitter, which is surprising, since we're never that far off on our reviews. Nothing remarkable on the whole. Strong dark chocolate with a fruity finish, but I wouldn't seek it out. (Bonus observation: We have discovered what we call the "60% Divide." If it's a dark chocolate with 60% cocoa or lower, Val loves it, and I don't. If it's over 60%, Val can't eat it, and I find it tolerable. This chocolate at 74% is proving this theory)

The cranberries aren't noticeable until you hit something chewy in the chocolate, but their flavor works well with the chocolate. That with the crunchiness of the almonds made for a tasty chocolate bar (obviously, I enjoyed it more than Val did).

Val: No flavor. Actually tastes kinda dry. Not even a nice aftertaste.
D-mo: Pretty smooth for 73%. I wouldn't believe this is dark chocolate.

Val: It's the closest thing I've had to coffee in 9 months. Tastes like a nice strong espresso.
D-mo: I just drank a cup of joe. A little chocolate comes through in the end, but this is all coffee.

Val:Bitter, but not harsh. It was roasty with a bit of coffee essence. I'd eat this again.
D-mo:Indeed, very smooth with a hint of a bitter finish. Quite refreshing for a dark chocolate. And as you ate it, it got sweeter, but still with a hint of bitterness. With that roasty flavor, it didn't taste fruity. Big plus.

Val: A little too bitter at the end to be thoroughly enjoyable, but it does taste like semi-sweet chips. I'd like it more if it were a little creamier.
D-mo: Nothing overly fantastic, but not too strong for 62%. Nice middle-of-the-road chocolate, but not for the price.

Val:It is a very enjoyable chocolate experience overall. I just wish there was more brittle flavor and not so much toffee flavor.
D-mo:While the star of the bar is the peanut brittle, the chocolate is just right to compliment it. This is one of my favorite bars around. Highly recommended.

Val:This was the most horrific chocolate experiences ever. I like spicy chocolate, but this sucked. The nibs were too bitter for the chocolate, which was too fruity.
D-mo:No joke, the first thing out of my mouth when I ate this was, "Is there black pepper in here?" I applaud the effort and the originality, but it doesn't work. The chocolate finishes way too fruity, and the fresh ground pepper taste sticks around way too long.

Val:At first, it has the strange finish of beet greens. But, the more you eat, the more coconutty it becomes. Perhaps the green flavor is the raw coconut. It definitely improves as you eat it.
D-mo:It had a strong pungent smell, but when you eat it, it's way milder that it's aroma. Though it listed as a dark (60%), it was surprisingly sweet, and actually tasted more like a full-bodied milk chocolate. For me, I didn't taste any coconut, but that's probably what makes it sweet.

Val:At first, it tasted like cheap Easter bunny chocolate, but the more you ate it, the better it got. It probably would have been better at room temperature.
D-mo:For an "organic" chocolate, this has to be one of the better tasting out there; but on the whole, while good, nothing spectacular. The taste did start off a little shallow, but overall, not too shabby.

Val:It had a slight "Pringles" aftertaste (i.e. mashed up dried potato chips). It was oddly dry and not sweet enough.
D-mo:I didn't get the Pringles flavor, but the flavor that was there, was just lacking.
